Independence
We are not the manufacturer, a dealer or a broker. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or paid by OMODA&JAECOO UK Ltd or Chery. We use the JAECOO name only to describe the cars we write about. We don't use the manufacturer's logos.
If we ever carry advertising or affiliate links, they will be clearly labelled and kept separate from verified ownership information. Commercial relationships will never change a specification, recall or guide.
How we source data
Specifications come only from JAECOO UK's published tech data for the UK market. Recalls come only from DVSA. When a source leaves a field blank we show “Not stated” rather than estimating it, and automated validation rules flag figures that don't add up so a person checks them before they are published.
An automated job checks manufacturer news and specification pages daily, honouring each site's robots.txt. Changes to specifications are never applied automatically — they raise a review item.

- Government sourcePublished by DVSA, DVLA or another GOV.UK body. Reproduced under the Open Government Licence.
- Third-party sourceFrom a reputable third party. Never used for safety-critical facts.
- Pending verificationCollected but not yet reviewed. Not presented as authoritative.
- Data conflict — under reviewFailed one of our validation rules (e.g. a physically impossible charging time). Held for review.
- Archived informationSuperseded information kept for history.
