The SHS-P accepts AC charging at up to 6.6 kW and DC rapid charging at up to 40 kW. A home wallbox takes it from 25% to full in about 2.7 hours according to JAECOO's figures.
The JAECOO 7 SHS-P is the only JAECOO 7 that can be plugged in. The SHS-H self-charging hybrid and the petrol models have no charging socket.
Because the on-board AC charger tops out at 6.6 kW, a 7 kW home wallbox is enough to reach the full AC rate. A 3-pin domestic socket will work more slowly; JAECOO does not publish a 3-pin charging time.
Unusually for a plug-in hybrid, the SHS-P also supports DC rapid charging. On a public rapid charger JAECOO quotes 30–80% in 20 minutes.

What the source doesn't tell us (yet)
- Charging-port location, connector types and the in-car charge-scheduling menu are described in the owner's handbook, which we have not yet indexed.
- Charging time from a 3-pin domestic socket is not published in the UK tech data.
