Hands-Free Boot Opening

Open the boot by standing behind it

Turn this feature on in the Audio System first.

  1. 1Make sure the car's power is OFF (or it has been remote started) and all four doors are closed.
  2. 2Carrying the smart key, stand behind the car (red area) and wait 3 seconds.
  3. 3When the indicators light up, take a step back (green area). The boot opens.

  • It can only open the boot; it cannot close it.
  • A beep sounds when the boot opens and closes.
  • To avoid opening it by accident, leave the red area within 2 seconds, leave the green area straight away while the indicators are flashing, or press the boot button on the smart key.
