How it works
During one-touch closing (including remote closing), if a window meets an obstacle and resistance goes over a set level, it stops and lowers slightly. Remove the obstacle and close it again.
If the window is blocked twice in a row, it stops and anti-trap protection is cancelled for that closing. Make sure nothing is in the way before closing it.
Relearning one-touch and anti-trap
If one-touch closing or anti-trap stops working (for example after the battery has been disconnected), relearn the window. Keep the window opening clear throughout.
- 1Switch the car's power to ON.
- 2Hold the switch to close the window fully, keep holding for 2 seconds, then release.
- 3Hold the switch to open the window fully, keep holding for 2 seconds, then release.
- 4Close the window fully by hand, then try one-touch closing.
- 5If it still does not close automatically, repeat these steps.
Note:If one-touch closing still cannot be restored, have it checked by an authorised Jaecoo service centre as soon as possible.
Note:On potholed or uneven roads, a window closing by one-touch may occasionally reverse and go down. This is rare and normal.
Caution:After the battery cable is disconnected and reconnected, one-touch closing and anti-trap will not work until relearned. Never test anti-trap repeatedly with objects or body parts; this can damage the window mechanism or injure someone.
Warning:Always keep the window opening clear when closing, even with anti-trap. A thin object may not be sensed, and trapped fingers or hands can be seriously injured.
