The features owners most often miss, by model and trim: opening panoramic roofs, Vehicle-to-Load sockets, welcome seats, the JAECOO 5's karaoke mode and the JAECOO 8's 'transparent chassis' camera view.
Everything below is listed in JAECOO UK's equipment tables or model pages for the current UK range. Check the trim column — many features are only on Luxury or above.
Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) turns the car into a power source for camping kit or tools. The E5 lists a V2L socket in the boot; the JAECOO 7 SHS-P lists 3.3 kW and the JAECOO 8 lists 6.6 kW.
On the JAECOO 7 Luxury, 'welcome seats' slide back to make getting in easier when you open the driver's door. The JAECOO 8's 540° camera adds a 'transparent chassis' view that shows the ground under the car for tight spots and rough tracks.
Where each setting lives in the infotainment menus depends on the software version. We'll add menu paths once we can cite the official owner's handbook.
