Check the coolant when the engine is cold. The level should be between the MIN and MAX marks. If it is at or below MIN, top up and have the car inspected by an authorised Jaecoo service centre straight away.
Your car has two coolant reservoirs: one for low-temperature coolant and one for high-temperature coolant. Each has its own MIN and MAX marks.Super Hybrid (SHS-P) only

Adding coolant
- 1With the engine cold, remove the reservoir cap and add coolant up to the MAX mark.
- 2Start the engine and let it reach normal temperature. Watch the level. If it drops below MIN, top it up.
- 3Keep topping up until the level stops dropping.
- 4Switch off and let the engine cool. Check the level again and repeat if needed.
- 5Refit the reservoir cap securely.
Warning:When the engine is warm or hot, the cooling system is under pressure. Never open the reservoir cap then. Escaping steam can scald you.
Warning:Coolant is poisonous. Do not spill it on the car, yourself or the ground. If it gets on your skin or in your eyes, rinse with plenty of water. Get medical help if needed.
Caution:If the level drops quickly, have the radiator, hoses and water pump checked for leaks.
Caution:Use only the recommended coolant. Poor-quality coolant cannot cool or protect the engine properly. Any damage from other coolants is at your own cost.
Caution:In cold areas, the coolant must be replaced with 100% neat antifreeze solution, as the manual specifies.
