Servicing and repairs

Routine care and dealer servicing
Official manufacturer dataApplies to: Petrol and Super Hybrid (SHS-P)Source: Petrol handbook p228-229 · Super Hybrid handbook p238-239

There are two kinds of maintenance. Normal maintenance is the simple checks you can do yourself. Scheduled maintenance, inspection and repair must be done by an authorised Jaecoo service centre.

Regular checks help you spot problems early, before they turn into breakdowns. Follow the maintenance schedule strictly to keep the car performing well and to extend its life.

Caution:Only use the recommended fluids. Other fluids may damage the vehicle.

Why use an authorised service centre

Approved parts and accessories keep the car to its original specification and keep it compliant with safety and environmental regulations. Your dealer has trained technicians and genuine (OEM) parts for the job.

Booking a service

  • Take all the documents you need with you.
  • Not all work is covered by the warranty. Ask your service advisor about costs.
  • Keep a service record for your car. It is useful later.
  • Make a list of any faults and the service items you want done.
  • Tell your advisor if the car has been in an accident, or if any work is missing from the service record.
  • If you have a long list and need the car back the same day, agree with your advisor which items come first.

Diagnostic connectorSuper Hybrid (SHS-P) only

Your dealer can read the vehicle identification information by connecting a diagnostic tool. Do not plug anything other than a diagnostic tool into this connector. Other devices can upset the car's electronics or drain the battery.Super Hybrid (SHS-P) only

Note:Used engine oil, brake fluid, coolant, batteries and tyres must not go in household waste or down the drain. Take them to a licensed waste disposal site, or ask your dealer.
