This section covers the simple jobs you can do yourself. Many other items need trained technicians and special tools, so leave those to an authorised Jaecoo service centre.

To open the bonnet, pull the bonnet release lever inside the car twice, then lift and prop the bonnet (see Bonnet in the Controls section).

Note:The owner's manual does not include a labelled layout of the engine bay. Positions of reservoirs can vary, so look for the MIN/MAX markings and cap symbols.

Caution:Before closing the bonnet, check you have not left tools or cloths inside.

Caution:Never drive with the air filter removed. It can cause heavy engine wear.

Caution:Fill fluids to the correct level only. If fluid splashes onto the paint, wipe it off straight away with a wet cloth.
