Remote Start

Start the car and A/C from the key

You can start the car from outside using the smart key. The air conditioning runs automatically, and the car switches itself off after 10 minutes.

  1. 1Make sure the car's power is OFF, the car is locked and the key is outside the car.
  2. 2Press and hold the lock button or the remote starting button on the smart key for several seconds.
  • You can unlock the car while it is remotely started, but you cannot lock it.
  • Stay within the key's normal operating range.
  • Each remote start lasts 10 minutes, and you can use it twice. After that, switch the car's power to ON once before remote start is available again.
  • While remotely started, some controls do not work (such as the light and wiper stalks and the audio). Get in with the key and press the brake pedal to leave remote mode and get normal control back.
