The smart key locks and unlocks the doors remotely and opens the boot door. It works up to about 20 m from the car, as long as there is a clear line of sight.
Mechanical key
A mechanical key is built into the smart key. Use it to lock or unlock the doors in an emergency, for example if the car's 12V battery is flat.
- 1Wrap tape around the tip of a flat-head screwdriver.
- 2Prise off the smart key cover with the screwdriver.
- 3Take out the mechanical key.
- 4After use, put the key back in its place so you always have it with you.
