When ACC (or TJA/ICA) is cruising, this function uses the speed limit from Speed Limit Assist (camera plus navigation data). When a new limit is detected, a pop-up appears on the cluster – press DOWN while it's showing to make the speed limit your new cruise speed. This helps you avoid speeding fines and points. (If equipped on PHEV.)
Note:You can switch it on/off in the central screen settings.
If you don't confirm the first pop-up, it won't appear again until a different speed limit sign is detected.Petrol only
If you don't confirm the first pop-up, it appears once more after 1 minute. After that it won't appear again until a different speed limit sign is detected.Super Hybrid (SHS-P) only
When it works
- SLA is switched on.
- The SLA speed limit is between 19 and 99 mph (30–160 km/h).
- The SLA speed limit is lower than your cruise set speed, or no more than 6 mph (10 km/h) above it.
- ACC is active.
- Petrol only
- SLA is switched on.
- The SLA speed limit is between 18 and 74 mph (30–120 km/h).
- The SLA speed limit differs from your cruise set speed by 10 km/h.
- ACC is active and its set speed is higher than the SLA speed limit.
- Super Hybrid (SHS-P) only
Speed Control Function (SCF)Super Hybrid (SHS-P) only
Some PHEV models (if equipped) have SCF, which works the same way: press the button shown in the pop-up to use the SLA limit as your cruise speed. It works when SLA is on, the SLA limit is 18–74 mph (30–120 km/h), the difference between the SLA limit and your cruise speed is at least 12 mph (20 km/h), ACC is active and the ACC set speed is above the SLA limit.Super Hybrid (SHS-P) only
Caution:This is only a driving aid – it can't replace your own observation and braking. A blocked camera or radar, wrong or missing map data, complex roads or bad weather can affect it. Always watch and control your speed yourself.
