Manual mirror
Before driving at night, flip the lever under the mirror to the anti-glare position. This reduces glare from headlights behind you.
Automatic (auto-dimming) mirror
At night, light sensors on the front and back of the mirror detect glare from headlights behind and automatically adjust the mirror to reduce it.
